At Key Stage 3 girls receive one double lesson each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics per week.

The Curriculum is designed to fire their curiosity about phenomena in the world around them and to offer opportunities to find explanations. Experimentation and modelling are used to develop and evaluate explanations, encouraging critical and creative thought. Girls learn to question and discuss issues that may affect their own lives, the direction of society and the future of the world.

In 2019 all Key Stage 3 girls took part in the Westfield Science Fair and presented their projects on subjects of their choice to parents, visitors and judges from Newcastle University.
