Geography Challenge Morning

Geography Challenge Morning.

Upper 4 to Lower 6 girls took part in a unique geography challenge.
Representing different global regions, they spent time researching issues such as poverty, poor sanitation and healthcare provisions.

They debated possible solutions within an allocated budget of $2 trillion.
Each ‘country’ had to present a good case and debate with each other; with our Sixth Form Geographers (Georgia, Fatima and Gabby) steering and managing the conference.
It was great to see how passionate the girls were about global issues; it is worth noting that the girls were randomly allocated to their country and therefore may not have worked together before but they all displayed great teamwork and the confidence coming from those that came to the front to present was really amazing to see.
