GCSE Results 2024

Headmaster Mr Neil Walker

“Following on from last week’s fantastic A Level results, I am delighted with the achievements of all our GCSE students, with 88% achieving 5 or more passes. The girls have worked really hard and I’d like to thank all the staff for the tireless effort and support they give to the girls; some of our pupils have been at Westfield since primary school age and it is heart warming to see the way we celebrate our collective achievements together. I am particularly proud of the girls who had been written off by their previous schools who have gone on to achieve some remarkable sets of results with us.”

Izzy T

“I was really nervous but I am now just feeling so excited that I am staying on at Westfield for A Levels.   I have had a great summer travelling around Japan and I am so happy with my results;  the teachers here have been fantastic.   I’ve been here since Year 7 but I really wish I had started at Westfield earlier.”

Poppy J

“I am so happy with my results!  II joined Westfield in Year 9,so haven’t really been here that long, but this school has given me the best balance in my education, great support from the teachers and I’ve made some fantastic friends.”

Poppy has spent the summer perfecting her fine art and graphics skills and has been given the opportunity to display her work at the North Shields Art Exhibition.

Amy D

“I’ve been here since I started Year 1, and am staying on at Westfield for my A Levels.   I am so pleased with my results and I would to thank Mrs McNaught in particular; she has been a big part of my life since I started and she knows everything about me, she just knows how to get the best out of me.”
