The Schoolroom was ready for the girls in Key stage One.
And so was Miss McKeating!
The girls began their day with a march around the playground and then they lined up in order of size, to enter the school building....in silence of course!
Hand Inspection was completed.
Lessons began after setting out the strict rules!
Name writing and the alphabet.
Ava showing her excellent work.
Learning a poem for the back row and drawing a picture to go with the poem, for the front row.
Unfortunately........2 pupils did not perform well and forgot some of the poem!
Ruby received the red spot of shame too and Molly got three of the ruler!!
Phew, back to real time before break!
After morning break some drill with Mrs Nicholson.
And afternoon lessons continued after lunch.
I think we can all agree that we are pleased we did not attend Victorian school!
