As part of our work on the environment, Transition and Lower One went out into our school grounds to litter pick.
We shared the litter pickers and took turns to use them. We all wore a blue glove so that we could pick rubbish up safely... but no glass of course!
It was amazing how much litter we found in a fairly short time.

We talked about the different types of litter we had found and which recycling bins we could put some of the things into.
After learning more about Reducing, Reusing and Recycling we enjoyed a sorting activity.
